Job Description

Dentsu is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Manager to support the Commercial Finance Director and Client Account Directors in effectively managing client Profit and Loss statements. The primary objective of this role is to contribute to Media Service Line profitability targets by enhancing clients' profit margins.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Support client revenue from initiation to completion, encompassing pricing models, negotiations, contracts, onboarding coordination, forecasting, and revenue recognition.
  • Support client profitability by managing revenue, resources, and costs, ensuring client P&Ls align with staffing agreements and agency goals.
  • Collaborate with Client Service, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), and Revenue Accounting and Analysis (RAA) on various client financial analyses, including monthly close variances, pricing scenarios, staffing, and time reporting, service channels, Salesforce/pipeline, and any reporting required by clients.
  • Partner with various finance teams (Finance Operations, Operational Finance, Finance Control/Controllership, RAA, and FP&A) to ensure accurate revenue, invoicing, billings, accruals, cost of sales, intercompany activity, billable T&E, and PRIPS/bonuses, adhering to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) accounting standards.
  • Assist in providing information to support internal and external audits.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed.
