The Electrical Estimator Coordinator is instrumental in winning new contracts and facilitating the successful delivery of ongoing projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Calculate the overall expenses related to materials, equipment, utilities, and labor for electrical construction projects.
2. Investigate electrical project documentation and scrutinize specifications.
3. Develop estimates for the planning, organization, and scheduling of electrical project tasks.
4. Oversee pre-qualification and pre-bid documentation.

5. Create estimates that align with project timelines, including work hour allocation, task sequencing, material procurement, and negotiating favorable terms with suppliers and subcontractors.

6. Ensure all estimates adhere to company protocols and client specifications.
7. Submit relevant documents and budgets prior to bid deadlines.
8. Provide regular updates to management and keep clients informed about project progress.
9. Develop contingency strategies and manage risks that could affect cost and timeline estimates.
10. Stay updated on the latest estimating technologies and industry practices.
11. Collaborate with other departments and conduct site assessments as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical estimating.

- High School Diploma or GED. A Bachelor's degree in a related field or completion of a postsecondary electrician training program is advantageous.
- Experience in the construction sector is essential.
- Familiarity with Intellibid is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.

SALARY:
Compensation ranges from $80,000.00 to $100,000.00.
