Vecna Technologies, Inc. is in search of a meticulous and outcome-focused Senior Project Manager with a strong background in overseeing technically intricate projects that involve the implementation of products and systems at client locations. This position will spearhead deployment initiatives, coordinating efforts with site leadership, deployment teams, engineering personnel, and support staff. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for automation and a demonstrated history of excellence in project management. They will take pride in guiding automated systems from the initial project initiation to the realization of fully autonomous operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategically plan and manage client-oriented automation solutions, ensuring oversight of all facets of product deployment within a complex environment.
  • Engage in site assessment visits to client locations.
  • Define project objectives and gather requirements collaboratively with the client.
  • Create and monitor project timelines, ensuring adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and budget constraints.
  • Maintain regular communication regarding project status with teams and upper management.
  • Monitor key performance indicators for the project and document lessons learned for future initiatives.
  • Cultivate a culture that emphasizes transparency, swift decision-making, and cohesive collaboration among teams and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the resolution of challenges, risks, and issues that arise during the deployment process.
  • Promote continuous improvement of new standards, processes, and procedures that enhance interactions and communication across teams.
  • Identify execution gaps and assist in developing internal processes that improve overall project flow.
  • Mentor and train new team members on daily project management tasks and best practices.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Qualifications:
  • Over 7 years of project management experience with a proven ability to excel in complex, client-facing roles deploying technical products and solutions.
  • Established track record of managing multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Experience in automated material handling within distribution centers and/or the automotive industry is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Project management certification is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating dynamic meetings and coordinating among high-energy participants to achieve productive outcomes.
  • Proven capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with adaptability to change and decisiveness amid varying levels of uncertainty.
  • Proficient in utilizing metrics and data analysis to drive beneficial process enhancements.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills across functions.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with hardware engineering is strongly preferred.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Six Sigma certification is a plus.
