About the Role

iCapital is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development professional to join the International Client Solutions team. This team will partner with the US Relationship Management team to develop and manage global relationships with iCapital's largest clients and prospects within the Asset Management and General Partner community.

The ideal candidate will analyze markets outside the US and develop strategies for new client acquisition, create and deliver compelling presentations, help negotiate contracts, and prioritize opportunities with existing clients.

Responsibilities

  • Understand iCapital's existing onshore and offshore manufacturing and technology-focused offerings across Canada, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC and identify and drive new opportunities with prospects and existing clients.
  • Identify and drive product offerings in new international markets based on market analysis and consultation with clients about their current and future strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate internally with Product Development functions globally to ensure clients receive an efficient and consistent global experience.
  • Respond appropriately to inbound inquiries and vet opportunities.
  • Cross-sell iCapital offerings such as Portfolio Allocation, Model Portfolios, and Education.
  • Identify, prioritize, and drive new opportunities with our existing client base.
  • Highlight iCapital's fund creation and technology capabilities in one-on-one and group settings.
  • Provide detailed pipeline updates and reports to be shared with company management and other interested internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 10-15+ years of experience in a business development/relationship management capacity; international experience is preferred.
  • 10-15+ years of experience working within financial services or the financial technology industry; international experience is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding and experience at the intersection of Private Asset Management and Wealth Management.
  • Strong knowledge of the Alternative Investments industry and key stakeholders.
  • Able to deliver a complex and varied product set to Enterprise clients.
  • Strong track record of building and maintaining client relationships with key decision makers.
  • Experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strategic mindset and able to work independently.
