As part of our Private Equity (PE) division, you will engage with a substantial portfolio that encompasses a significant allocation to private equity investments. This role is pivotal in overseeing and managing a portfolio that represents a considerable portion of our overall investment strategy. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the PE team in sourcing, evaluating, and managing fund investments.

ROLE SUMMARY

The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, capable of dissecting complex data to uncover potential risks and opportunities. This position requires a collaborative spirit and a proactive approach to enhancing our investment strategies. You will play a key role in the due diligence process and serve as a liaison with our private equity partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Investment Analysis and Due Diligence

  • Conduct thorough analyses of potential private equity investment opportunities, including fund commitments and principal investments.
  • Assist in the due diligence process, which includes reviewing Private Placement Memoranda (PPM), financial modeling, and assessing the historical performance of potential investments.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management through detailed reports and presentations.
  • Perform reference checks and evaluate the leadership and operational strategies of potential investment opportunities.
  • Participate in negotiations related to investment management partnerships.

Portfolio Management

  • Coordinate with investment managers and analysts to monitor portfolio performance and risk.
  • Assist in the development and reporting of diverse investment strategies.
  • Prepare performance reports and conduct analyses related to the private equity portfolio.
  • Maintain professional relationships within the investment community to identify new opportunities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is required. A Master's degree may substitute for one year of experience. Candidates should have at least one year of relevant experience in private equity investment or a related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in private equity, investment banking, or consulting is highly desirable. Candidates with a strong background in financial modeling and data analysis will be prioritized.
