Position Title: Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Position Summary: The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is tasked with the preparation and evaluation of financial reports to guarantee precise and prompt financial disclosures. This position entails supervising the creation of financial statements, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulations, and delivering insights into financial performance. The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is pivotal in fostering the organization's financial clarity and supporting decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile and assess monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in alignment with GAAP or IFRS.
  • Examine financial data and performance indicators, pinpointing trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Guarantee compliance with accounting standards, regulatory mandates, and internal protocols.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate the audit process and resolve any arising issues.
  • Design and uphold financial reporting systems and tools to optimize the reporting process and improve accuracy.
  • Offer insights and recommendations derived from financial analysis to aid strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Work alongside various departments to collect financial information and ensure uniformity in reporting.
  • Monitor and assess changes in accounting regulations and standards, ensuring timely adjustments to reporting practices.
  • Assist in the formulation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or a comparable role.
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (GAAP or IFRS), and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to stakeholders.
  • Experience with financial consolidation and reporting processes is advantageous.
