We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Director to join our team at FPI Management, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our affordable housing communities, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities- Client Relations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and reports on community performance.
- Employee Management
- Supervise and manage a team of employees, including hiring, training, and evaluating their performance.
- Ensure that all employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Leasing and Occupancy
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain high occupancy levels and meet budget expectations.
- Oversee the leasing process, ensuring that all necessary procedures are followed and that residents are satisfied with their living experience.
- Revenue Management
- Manage the financial performance of the community, including rent collections, delinquency, and budgeting.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize expenses.
- Reporting and Document Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of community performance, including financial reports and resident files.
- Ensure that all necessary documents and reports are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
- Risk Management
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to the community, including safety and security concerns.
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Facility Maintenance
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of community facilities and equipment.
- Ensure that all necessary maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in community management or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in managing affordable housing communities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
