Role Overview:
The HR Business Partner plays a crucial role in executing HR functions at a professional level. This position encompasses various responsibilities across multiple HR domains:

  • Talent Acquisition: Spearheading recruitment efforts for both exempt and non-exempt roles, conducting orientations for new hires, and crafting job advertisements.
  • Employee Relations: Addressing performance management challenges, providing counseling, and conducting exit interviews.
  • Policy Development: Assisting in the formulation and execution of personnel policies and procedures.
  • Benefits Administration: Managing employee benefits, resolving claims, and communicating essential information to staff.
  • Compliance: Ensuring adherence to employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.
  • HRIS Management: Maintaining accurate records within the human resource information system and generating reports as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
As an HR Business Partner, you will:

  • Foster internal relationships across departments to enhance collaboration.
  • Propose innovative approaches and strategies to improve departmental efficiency.
  • Support the HR team in initiatives aimed at enhancing the employee experience.
  • Participate in the establishment of departmental goals and objectives.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for terminations and severance.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree in HR management is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of HR experience.
  • Proficiency in Workday or similar HRIS.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and labor regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
