Role Summary:
The Project Engineer will assist in managing construction and field execution tasks for various projects, utilizing industry best practices and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in all facets of safety and quality management, promoting an injury-free workplace.
- Collaborate in project quality assurance and control planning.
- Participate in estimating and change management processes, including quantity take-offs and subcontractor proposal reviews.
- Support the project team on-site by monitoring crew sizes, self-perform hours, materials, and equipment.
- Assist in tasks such as punch lists, inspections, safety reviews, and documentation preparation.
- Maintain updated drawings and specifications.
- Organize and take part in project meetings, ensuring proper documentation is shared.
- Prepare various reports, including daily and weekly progress updates, to support project tracking.
- Conduct periodic job site observations with project leadership.
- Create procurement logs based on project schedules and specifications, tracking shop drawings and deliveries.
- Provide updates to the project team to assist in scheduling.
- Support project closeout activities, including punch lists and as-built documentation.
- Utilize best practices in construction techniques and standards.
- Foster relationships and develop communication skills with team members and tradespeople.
- Understand the various roles within the company and their contributions to project success.
- Collaborate effectively within the project team.
- Incorporate Lean practices into daily activities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Ability to perform tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Knowledge of construction technology and Lean processes.
- Capability to assess and enhance project productivity.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to travel and work non-traditional hours as needed.
- Exposure to varying environmental conditions.
