Job Summary

This role is responsible for planning, developing, and managing onsite construction engineering activities for various projects to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction estimating support, engineering, and field support, with a strong understanding of preconstruction software and programs.

Key Responsibilities

Manage job controls to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule, forecasting, and job costing.
Develop and maintain preconstruction and project schedules to ensure work is completed on time and under budget.
Support the project team in reviewing project contracts, schedules, and budgets to ensure compliance and efficient execution throughout all phases of the project.
Work with senior project managers to develop, maintain, and manage project budgets for preconstruction support.
Manage project engineering assignments to ensure work is completed on time and under budget.
Provide technical support in construction planning, quality control, interpretation of design, application of construction methods, resolution and documentation of design conflicts, and constructability reviews to ensure successful job completion.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience.
4+ years of construction estimating support, engineering, field support, or similar experience.
Proficiency with MS Office products, AGTEK Take-off, and Primavera Scheduling software.
Working knowledge of preconstruction software/programs, construction engineering technology, codes, standards, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
