Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Program Director to lead the development and implementation of our new Psychiatry Residency Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing the strategic direction of the program, ensuring its standards, quality, and reputation align with our organization's mission and values.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Liaise with hospital administration, faculty, and staff to integrate the Psychiatry Residency Program into our established GME foundation, physician practices, and hospital clinical services.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for the program, including curriculum design, recruitment, and retention strategies.
  • Maintain accreditation with the ACGME and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and respect among residents, faculty, and staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance value and quality of medical education and professional practice.
