About the Role
Legend Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Human Resources to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our company's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that support the company's goals and objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR-related matters.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues, including conflicts and complaints.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure the best candidates are hired for open positions.
- Develop and manage the company's benefits package to ensure it is competitive and aligned with industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and manage the company's HR budget to ensure it is aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in human resources, with a background in legal areas such as workers' compensation, benefits, and government requirements.
- Previous supervisory experience is a must.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment law across multiple states and locations, as well as wage and salary laws and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret and advise management on employment laws and regulations.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Highly professional and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution, with knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts and benefit proposals.
