About the Role

Legend Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Human Resources to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our company's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR-related matters, including employee relations, benefits, and workers' compensation.
  • Manage and analyze HR data to inform business decisions and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement business strategies that align with our company's mission and values.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in human resources, with a background in legal areas such as workers' compensation, benefits, and government requirements.
  • Previous supervisory experience is a must.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment law across multiple states and locations, as well as wage and salary laws and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and desktop publishing.
  • Strong organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously and maintain attention to detail.
  • Highly professional and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution, with knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts and benefit proposals.
