Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a Safe Work Environment: Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes, and act in a safe manner at all times.
  • Packing and Labeling: Prepare computer-generated packing lists, labels, manifests, and land disposal restrictions notifications.
  • Inspections and Compliance: Perform inspections of staging, accumulating, and storage areas to ensure proper housekeeping procedures and compliance.
  • Waste Management: Collect, segregate, and properly package waste chemicals for disposal to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
  • Sampling and Profiling: Sample and profile new waste streams or any wastes needing analytical testing.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding position; must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Administrative Tasks: Prepare all necessary tracking paperwork.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Experience: Hazardous waste experience a plus.
  • License: Valid Driver's License and clean Motor Vehicle Record.
