The Property Management Assistant plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records through effective data management. This position supports leasing, marketing, and resident engagement efforts within the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage rental payment processing and gather essential financial data for property accounting
  • Prepare and distribute notices to residents
  • Deliver outstanding service to residents, prospective tenants, and team members
  • Address resident inquiries, concerns, and feedback
  • Assist with marketing initiatives as required
  • Assume the Property Manager's responsibilities during their absence
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures while complying with Fair Housing, state, and federal regulations
  • Follow safety protocols and report any hazards to the supervisor
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Engage in special projects and additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Proficient in using standard office equipment such as telephones, internet, fax machines, and photocopiers
  • Intermediate skills in computer usage and data entry
  • Professional, energetic, organized, detail-oriented, and service-focused demeanor
  • Able to meet deadlines effectively
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Capable of tactfully interacting with residents, colleagues, and management
