Customer Service Representative

Join our team at Applied Industrial Technologies as a Customer Service Representative and take the first step towards a rewarding career in industrial distribution. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing expert assistance to our customers, building ongoing business relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of parts and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service through phone and in-person interactions
  • Assist customers in finding the right parts and solutions to meet their needs
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals while increasing customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of proven inside sales or customer service experience
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking skills, with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including English grammar
  • Mechanical and mathematical aptitude, with a basic understanding of industrial products and hydraulics
  • Strong computer skills, particularly Excel
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
