What We Offer:
Compensation:
Annual salary ranging from $45,000 to $60,000, along with opportunities for significant monthly bonuses.

Role Overview:

As an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional aircraft window services to our clientele while fostering growth in our customer base and sales within your designated region.

Your duties will encompass:

  • Inspecting aircraft windows and evaluating defects for airworthiness.
  • Repairing scratches, pits, and other forms of window damage.
  • Removing and installing replacement windshields and windows.
  • Being available on-call 24/7 to address customer requests for emergency AOG (Aircraft on Ground) services.
  • Utilizing orbital sanders with various grits to restore damaged areas.
  • Reviewing and applying technical data relevant to your tasks.
  • Managing purchase orders from customers based on provided quotes.
  • Coordinating service schedules with aircraft owners/operators and maintenance managers.
  • Completing and submitting billing information and evaluation forms to our headquarters.
  • Providing necessary airworthiness documentation to customers upon job completion.
  • Traveling as required to customer locations.
  • Compiling weekly expense reports detailing costs incurred.
  • Signing off on work orders and maintaining part traceability records.
  • Conducting regular communication with current and potential customers.
  • Developing and expanding sales in your assigned region.
  • Maintaining a tidy and organized work environment.
  • Respecting confidentiality regarding company and customer information.

Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Experience:

Preferred experience in sales, with at least one year of orbital sanding experience, auto body experience, and previous aircraft experience. An A&P license or AMT certificate is preferred.


Technical Skills:

Proficiency in using various measuring devices, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.


Problem Solving Skills:

Ability to comprehend mechanical and technical manuals and apply them in practical scenarios. You should be capable of working independently while delivering outstanding customer service.


Physical Demands:

The role requires standing on wings, maneuvering in and out of cockpits, and working both indoors and outdoors on aircraft. The ability to lift/carry weights up to 70 lbs and perform various physical tasks for extended periods is essential.
