Lift Maintenance Specialist

Sundance Mountain Resort is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lift Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Mountain Operations department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our chairlifts.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Lift Maintenance Manager in all aspects of chairlift maintenance, including seasonal maintenance and repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating and cleaning equipment, and inspecting lift systems for damage or wear.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with chairlifts and related equipment.
- Supervise and train junior lift maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment usage.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Ski Patrol and Guest Services, to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., mechanical engineering, maintenance management) preferred.
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in lift maintenance or a related field, with a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on safety and guest satisfaction.
