Senior Electrical Maintenance Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician IV to join our team at New Balance. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance on our buildings and equipment, planning and designing electrical work, and repairing manufacturing machinery and other electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical preventive maintenance of our facility and equipment on systems up to 480 volts in.
- Travel to other New Balance locations as needed to assist with repairs or installations.
- Review work requests for feasibility and propose design changes, determine material requirements, obtain costs from vendors, and provide a labor time estimate to our Facilities Manager.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/mechanical systems of building and equipment to applicable codes.
- Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies.
- Oversee the workmanship of outside contractors.
- Assist Maintenance Technicians with carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and mechanical work as needed.
- Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to proper supervision.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures.
- Respond to on-call duties in case of emergencies.
Requirements for Success:
- Master electrician license with 3 years of electrical work experience or Journeyman Electrician with 5-8 years in a manufacturing environment or strong proficiencies in Plant Maintenance.
- Mechanical skills, Carpentry, Masonry, and Plumbing.
- Physical ability to lift moderate to heavy weight and climb ladders.
- This position requires movement throughout the facility.
