Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales and profit objectives.
  • Manage and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers.
  • Develop and manage sales budgets and forecasts.
  • Identify and communicate new product development and revisions to existing product lines to the marketing department.
  • Develop and administer the budget for the sales team and evaluate performance to plan.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships within the marketplace.
  • Engage in negotiations to develop new business and resolve critical problem situations affecting the sales program.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
  • Five or more years of related experience, with at least five years in sales management with an alcoholic beverage wholesaler or supplier.
  • Knowledge of Internet, Microsoft Office Suite software, and order processing systems.
  • A current, valid state driver's license and ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements.
  • Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state.
