Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Case Management: Assist attorneys in managing complex litigation cases, maintain organized case files, and track deadlines.
  • Legal Research and Investigation: Conduct thorough legal research, gather facts, and analyze evidence to support attorneys.
  • Document Preparation: Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Witness and Client Interaction: Interview witnesses, gather statements, and communicate with agency personnel and clients.
  • Courtroom Support: Assist in preparation for court appearances, including coordinating logistics and organizing exhibits.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of American law, legal research methods, and writing techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including skill in writing legal documents.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with public and external entities.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or a closely related field.
  • Paralegal certification, such as ALP, PLS, CLP, or PP.
  • Experience working in a legal environment, preferably in litigation support.
