Position Overview:

IST Management is in search of an Office Services Assistant Manager to support our operations. This role entails managing and executing on-site services within a professional setting. Candidates must be capable of fulfilling a Motor Vehicle Inspection request. The ideal applicant will have prior relevant experience in an office environment, demonstrate exceptional customer service abilities, and exhibit self-motivation, all while being prepared to advance their career in management and office services.

Position Details:

This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity.

Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly compensation ranges from $21.00 to $22.00, depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, 401k, paid time off, pet insurance, and bonus incentives. This position is eligible for overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain effective communication with clients, prioritizing tasks and deploying staff as necessary to meet customer needs regarding timely service delivery and quality assurance.
  • Oversee mailroom operations, including scanning, sorting, and delivering mail and packages across multiple locations, while managing vendor relationships with major carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS).
  • Maximize productivity through the efficient application of standard operating procedures.
  • Develop and implement new procedures to enhance site operations and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and basic computer skills are preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with problem-solving capabilities; excellent customer service skills with a commitment to maintaining high service standards.
  • Ability to multitask, manage multiple accounts, and set priorities effectively.
  • Physical requirements include lifting up to 55 pounds and standing for extended periods.
  • Willingness to cross-train for additional job functions.
