Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Collaboration: Cultivate a culture of teamwork among physicians and advanced practitioners, establishing care models that prioritize patient needs and uphold the standards of exceptional care.
2. Clinical Excellence: Ensure the implementation of evidence-based clinical standards across the region, fostering innovative care delivery models in partnership with Enterprise Clinical Programs.
3. Workforce Development: Lead efforts in workforce planning, physician recruitment, and retention strategies to maintain a robust and satisfied medical staff.
4. Quality and Performance Improvement: Drive initiatives that enhance quality, patient experience, and operational efficiency, while monitoring key performance metrics.
5. Strategic Direction: Collaborate with various disciplines within Intermountain Health to align the strategic goals of the service line with the broader organizational objectives.
6. Research and Education: Support research initiatives and educational strategies that contribute to the advancement of clinical practices within the specialties served.
Qualifications:
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited institution.
- Completed residency in relevant specialties.
- Board certification and active medical licensure.
- Significant clinical experience and proven leadership in healthcare settings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in complex health systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire clinical teams.
