Job Summary:

Upstate University Hospital is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible general nephrologist to join our team. As a Clinical Assistant Professor of Nephrology, you will be part of our comprehensive kidney care program, providing medical care to patients in the region. Our nephrology department is the only university-based program in Syracuse, New York, and is currently expanding to meet the needs of the area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive kidney care to patients, including chronic, acute, and home dialysis therapies
  • Participate in kidney and pancreas transplant program, covered by transplant nephrology
  • Teach medical students, residents, and five nephrology fellows
  • Collaborate with a team of 10 general nephrologists with dedicated APP support
