Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Assistant Professor/Neurovascular Specialist to join our team at Upstate University Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, establishing protocols for clinical care and research, and collaborating with other services to provide comprehensive Neurovascular care.
Key Responsibilities:
- See patients with Neurovascular diseases and develop treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Establish and implement protocols for clinical care and research, working closely with the service director and other specialists.
- Collaborate with other services to provide comprehensive Neurovascular care, including stroke and telestroke services.
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows through supervision and presentation, promoting excellence in patient care and research.
- Contribute to basic, translational, and clinical research, advancing the field of Neurovascular medicine.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Neurology Residency Program.
- Fellowship training in Vascular Neurology.
- Board Certification and/or board eligibility in Neurology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Neurovascular care and research.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
