We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Marriott San Antonio Airport. As a key member of our Rooms & Guest Services Operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a professional and courteous manner, providing accurate and timely information and services.
- Process guest arrivals and departures, including check-in and check-out procedures, using computerized methods to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Manage cash transactions and maintain accurate records, ensuring a secure and efficient environment.
- Answer incoming calls, assist with in-house calls, and schedule wake-up calls to provide guests with timely and efficient service.
- Perform shift checklists to ensure accuracy and completeness of all aspects of the shift.
- Process guest mail, messages, and faxes, receiving, sorting, notifying, and distributing to mailboxes and guests in a timely manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; one year front desk or two years customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Basic math skills and ability to calculate amounts accurately.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, use hands and fingers, and perform physical tasks as required.
