We are seeking an experienced Energy Conservation Engineer to join our team at DPS Group LLC. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in reducing their utilities consumption footprint and meeting their sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project managers and project engineers to deliver retrofit projects that optimize energy efficiency.
  • Review construction designs for energy efficiency and provide recommendations for updates to design specifications.
  • Develop and deliver energy training and energy use/efficiency awareness programs.
  • Manage Facility Management company performance on energy efficiency of assets under control.
  • Manage State/ ODOE, ETO or Utility company incentives and serve as the point of contact for their agents.
  • Stay up-to-date on Federal and State Energy Efficiency regulations and develop strategies to comply.
  • Integrate Renewable Energy technology, Frequency/Demand Response, and Grid Ancillary Services into our projects.
  • Develop and implement energy efficiency opportunities, including measurements, engineering calculations, and feasibility studies.
  • Develop Measurement and Verification Plans to IPMVP/ISO 50006 standards.
  • Prioritize, approve, and manage resources for energy efficiency projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy Engineering, Chemical, or a similar facilities discipline, with 3+ years of relevant facilities ownership or energy management experience.
  • Master's degree in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Electrical, Energy Engineering, Chemical, or a similar facilities discipline, with 2+ years of relevant experience.
Essential Skills
  • Ability to influence and drive energy efficiency initiatives at the site level and support Intel-wide energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence.
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge boundary conditions and develop innovative strategies and actions.
  • In-depth knowledge of the design, operation, and control of systems, including chillers, air handlers, exhaust systems, boilers, compressed air, pumping, reverse osmosis, and air separation.
  • Understanding of energy use and operational energy efficiency improvement strategies, as well as rest-of-world practices with respect to energy efficiency.
