Job Opportunity

Optel Group, a leading provider of traceability systems, is seeking a seasoned Account Director to join its team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling our innovative products to customers in your defined territory.

We are looking for a dynamic and autonomous individual with a strong background in sales and business development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in generating new sales, building long-term relationships with clients, and managing sales records and revenue data.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing a market approach strategy to achieve sales goals and objectives
  • Generating new sales and expanding existing relationships with clients
  • Representing the company to portfolio clients and negotiating contracts on their behalf
  • Implementing and executing on strategic sales quotas and presenting reports on account progress to leadership

Requirements for the role include:

  • Excellent customer-orientation and networking skills
  • At least 7 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in the life science and packaging industry
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and the ability to articulate them clearly and confidently
  • Excellent analytical and time-management skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities for multiple projects
