Director of Business Development (Oil & Gas Industry)

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth within the oil and gas industry.
  • Identify and exploit new business opportunities by cultivating relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Maintain and grow a robust network of industry contacts to facilitate strategic alliances and business opportunities.
  • Lead the sales team in devising and executing sales strategies that exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the delivery of top-tier service quality to our clients.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activities to stay ahead of industry developments.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and contracts to prospective clients.
  • Oversee sales performance, providing detailed reports and insights to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry-specific events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services and enhance brand recognition.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in sales and business development, particularly within the oil and gas industry & engineering services.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and surpass sales targets.
  • In-depth understanding of the oil and gas industry and its key players.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven capability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a sales team.
  • Expertise in strategic planning and execution.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client engagements and industry events.
