Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Specialist to join our Real Estate Trust Leasing team at The Chickasaw Nation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing ownership data of Tribal lands and leases, as well as all real estate functions spanning land planning, appraising, acquisition, and management of leasing of real property and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers

  • Scan documents into software
  • Enter, record, store, and maintain information in written or electronic form
  • Coordinate and prepare the submission of necessary reports, records, and business correspondence
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • Ensure all legal documents, appraisals, and leasing documents adhere to 25 CFR regulations
  • Prepare and track various county permits, documentation, and records
  • Research using public record information to determine land ownership and status
  • Ensure all preliminary title opinions are rectified and requirements are met
  • Assist with the preparation of real estate sales and purchase contracts
  • Order property appraisals, surveys, and environmental assessments
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Pass general background check and standard driver's license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Ability to work in a structured and organized environment
