Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities- Operate MRI scanners to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for exams, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images to PACS, and develop film in an automatic processor.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
- One or more of the following certifications: ARRT (Radiologic Technologist - MRI), ARRT (Radiologic Technologist - Radiography), or ARMRIT (Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist).
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
