Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Advocate Medical Group. As a Radiologic Technologist Float, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures and providing quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures, integrating scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and useful diagnostic information.
  • Work at various x-ray locations, with hours varying to meet the needs of the department.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school or program of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or eligible.
  • Knowledge of radiology procedures and equipment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Previous outpatient service experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills with proficiency in multiple programs.
  • Licensed by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA).
  • Current CPR certification.
Working Conditions

May be exposed to hazardous materials and life-threatening diseases. Must be flexible in a changing environment and willing to travel between work assignments if necessary. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance, with patient handling equipment available for heavier lifts or patient assistance.
