  • Patient Communication: Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and provide reassurance.
  • Collaboration with Physicians: Collaborate with physicians to review and interpret imaging results, ensuring accurate and timely diagnosis.
  • Safety Protocols: Maintain compliance with safety protocols and radiation protection measures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Continuing Education: Participate in continuing education and stay updated on advancements in imaging technology to provide the highest level of patient care.
  • Professional Standards: Adhere to ethical and professional standards, including patient confidentiality, to maintain the trust and respect of patients and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Certification: Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Licensure: Illinois State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (IEMA).
  • Experience: Experience in performing diagnostic imaging procedures preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in operating radiologic equipment and software, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
