We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating radiology equipment, positioning patients, and securing support devices to perform high-quality imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging Procedures: Operate radiology equipment, position patients, and secure support devices to perform high-quality imaging procedures.
  • Patient Care: Provide excellent patient care, communicate effectively, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Quality Control: Perform daily sensitometry of processors, assist in annual inspections, and maintain exposure badges.
  • Supply Management: Maintain supplies and cleanliness for assigned rooms on a daily basis.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform clerical duties, maintain patient records, and answer telephones.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate from an accredited AMA School of Radiology.
  • Licensure: IDNS license and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registered (ARRT).
  • Skills: Knowledge of Health Information System, basic knowledge of radiology equipment, and CPR certification.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Environmental Factors: May be exposed to hazardous materials and life-threatening diseases.
