About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to join our team at Ascension. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our diagnostic imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring accurate and safe procedures.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images, and develop film in an automatic processor.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to ensure patient safety.
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS.
  • Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms and storage areas.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • One or more of the following certifications: ARRT (Radiologic Technologist), ARRT (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), or ARMRIT (Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist).
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, Associate's degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
