Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Office Clerk to join our team at Community Health Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and check in patients arriving for appointments, ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process.
  • Verify and update patient information and health insurance coverage, maintaining accurate records.
  • Collect applicable co-pays at time of service, handling financial transactions with professionalism.
  • Answer incoming calls, responding to patient inquiries and providing excellent customer service.
  • Confirm appointments, ensuring timely and accurate scheduling.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
