**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Office Clerk to join our team at Community Health Systems. As a Front Office Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Greet and check in patients arriving for appointments, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
* Verify and update patient information and health insurance coverage, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
* Collect applicable co-pays at time of service, handling financial transactions with professionalism and discretion
* Answer incoming calls, responding to patient inquiries and providing assistance as needed
* Confirm appointments, ensuring that patients are scheduled for the correct date and time

**Requirements**

* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
