Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver shipside Manufacturing Engineering assistance to Mechanics and other support teams on the VC25B program, including providing engineering clarifications and drafting work instructions for Non-Conformances.
  • Refine, validate, coordinate, and implement conceptual designs while managing the program architecture for production.
  • Develop and oversee manufacturing plans, ensuring optimization of processes.
  • Conduct intricate producibility and variation analyses to confirm that manufacturing capabilities align with requirements.
  • Address complex technical challenges effectively.
  • Act as a project manager to ensure integration and maintenance of contract requirements, specifications, design criteria, and schedule performance.
  • Lead innovative design solutions and support the exploration of new product or business opportunities.
  • Apply Lean Enterprise analysis methods within the company.
  • Document and disseminate best practices in producibility.
  • Provide structured mentoring and guidance to team members.
  • Availability for overtime, weekends, and holidays may be necessary to meet business needs.

Security Clearance Requirement: This position necessitates the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.

Work Environment: This role is expected to be 100% onsite, requiring the selected candidate to work at one of the designated locations.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • At least 5 years of experience in applying professional/technical writing skills and collaborating effectively to resolve technical issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong preference for candidates who can obtain program access, requiring U.S. Citizenship.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with CATIA, IVT, and GoldEsp.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education and experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited program in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor) and generally 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Relocation Information:

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Candidates must reside in the immediate area or manage their own relocation.
