Real Estate Acquisitions Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Real Estate Acquisitions Coordinator to support our team in acquiring real property interests for our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Chief, Property Acquisitions in all matters related to real estate acquisitions.
  • Communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders, including project team members, finance department, consultants, and external parties.
  • Schedule appointments, arrange meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
  • Organize and maintain correspondence and records, ensuring timely follow-up on pending matters.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Track and update the Gateway property acquisition activity schedule.
  • Coordinate with the project team and finance department to gather information for the Project Cost Tracking Schedule (Excel).
  • Assist in updating monthly summary reports and schedules.
  • Update an overlay of the Hudson Tunnel Bubble Map as parcels are acquired.
  • Coordinate the review, approval, and payment of disbursements related to the acquisition process.
  • Maintain acquisitions files, including original documents and hard copies of all documents used in the acquisition process.
  • Maintain a log of legal invoices and route them for review, approval, and payment.
  • Perform project-related administrative tasks, including research and schedule updates, and complete special projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, and six years of applied experience in the real estate field.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and word processing software, such as Word.
  • Paralegal certificate and 5+ years of experience handling real estate transaction matters preferred.
