Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Portfolio Service Manager to lead our maintenance team and oversee the upkeep of our properties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and that our residents have a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team, including scheduling, coordinating work orders, and training team members
• Organize and prioritize service requests and repairs, ensuring timely completion and accurate recording of activities
• Oversee turnkey operations, including making vacant units rent-ready in a timely manner and performing various repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems and minor electrical issues
• Conduct regular walk-throughs of vacant units to determine make-ready needs and coordinate efforts with the maintenance team
• Complete grounds work, including trash pickup, sweeping, pressure washing, clearing, and cleaning dumpster areas and maintaining landscape
• Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance service responses, including on-call duties as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, with at least three years of experience in building and facility maintenance, including supervisory experience
• Licensing and trade certification in HVAC, Electrical Wiring, or Plumbing are highly desirable
• Ability to read and write in English at an intermediate level, with basic math skills for measuring and calculations
• Strong prioritization and time management skills, with a high level of integrity and ability to handle confidential resident information
• Proficiency in using computers for data entry, word processing, and spreadsheets
• Background check and drug testing required
