Job Description

As an Account Manager at L2 Aviation, you will be responsible for managing specialized service relationships with tier 1 customers. This includes building long-term relationships with a specific group of customers to maximize revenue potential. You will promote L2 service offerings and increase business opportunities across the full spectrum of L2's capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform customer and sales activities as directed to ensure company objectives are met.
  • Serve customers by selling L2 products/services and meeting customer needs.
  • Develop proposals, quotations, and pricing strategies for assigned customer projects.
  • Achieve sales operational objectives by contributing sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
  • Maintain timely and effective communications with the Chief Revenue Officer and the Director of Manufacturing Services regarding customer activities.
  • Research and report on competition.
  • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Maintain a positive image for the company in the marketplace and participate in industry events.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and other documentation to ensure all client requirements are met.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client communications, project milestones, and deliverables.
  • Achieve sales revenue numbers, budget, and profit goals for assigned customers.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled and that any changes in scope or specifications are properly documented and communicated.
  • Make regularly scheduled sales calls on all major customers.
  • Accurately and quickly update the L2 Aviation CRM system on all customer interactions and provide monthly sales reports, expense reports, and any assigned reports to the Director of Manufacturing Services in a timely manner.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Business Management, or Aerospace or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Avionics Specific/Systems Training desired.
  • Must have 5+ years in account management or project management experience preferably with avionics specific familiarity.
  • Must understand, read, and write English and be proficient with different computer programs including CRM and MS Office.
