Job Title: Mental Health Therapist

Job Summary:

Radias Health is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at the ReEntry House Crisis Stabilization Program in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals experiencing mental health crises or emergencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Function as a primary therapist for residents admitted to the program.
  • Perform diagnostic assessments as needed.
  • Coordinate the admission process for new residents in concert with other team members.
  • Develop and implement individual treatment plans, vulnerable adult plans, and crisis plans.
  • Identify individuals prone to behavior emergencies and develop additional programming to meet their needs.
  • Provide clinical support and supervision to other staff members when on-call after hours.
  • Coordinate clients' care, establishing case conferences with the case manager, treatment team, family members, or other individuals involved in the client's care.
  • Produce timely reports, including quarterlies, vulnerable adult reports, and requirements under MS 253B.
  • Provide individual, couple, and family counseling as needed.
  • Administer medications under the supervision of the facility's nurse, upon successful completion of required medication training.
  • Participate in surveillance committee meetings and coordinate internal investigations and reports.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable Minnesota statutes and rules, including DHS Rule 36, MDH SLF, MS 253B, and the Minnesota Data Practices Act.
  • Facilitate discharge planning and provide follow-up assistance to the aftercare coordinator.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in behavioral sciences or a related field.
  • Qualified as a mental health professional with a LICSW, LP, LPCC, or LMFT license.
  • 2,000 hours of experience working with individuals with co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorders.
