Key Responsibilities:
The primary objective of this position is to oversee the safety and well-being of our clients while establishing meaningful connections with them. This includes:

  • Assisting clients in group settings and addressing individual challenges.
  • Setting behavioral boundaries and documenting client progress.
  • Identifying the need for professional interventions and communicating findings to the treatment team.
  • Contributing to the maintenance of a supportive care environment.

Essential Duties:
As a Client Care Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining awareness of the whereabouts and activities of all assigned clients.
  • Utilizing verbal de-escalation techniques to ensure client safety and manage crises.
  • Facilitating daily schedules and activities, including chores, meal services, and therapeutic groups.
  • Documenting daily shift notes for each client.
  • Communicating effectively with treatment teams regarding client concerns.
  • Supervising medication administration and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
  • Providing safe transportation for clients during community outings.
  • Adhering to all organizational policies and documentation requirements.
  • Staying current with all necessary training and certifications.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or sociology preferred).
  • Experience in behavioral health settings with young adults is advantageous.
  • A valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance coverage.
  • Certification in CPI and CPR within the first month of employment.
