Position: Wedding DJ

Location: Temecula, CA

Job Responsibilities: As a Wedding DJ with Pacific Entertainment, you will be instrumental in curating the musical backdrop for one of the most significant days in our clients' lives. This role allows you to express your musical expertise and passion while ensuring each wedding reception is a remarkable event. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as the primary DJ and Master of Ceremonies at weddings and related functions.
  • Working closely with clients to comprehend their musical tastes and event schedule.
  • Developing playlists and selecting tracks that resonate with the couple's vision and elevate the ambiance.
  • Facilitating smooth transitions between songs and coordinating special moments (e.g., first dance, bouquet toss).
  • Setting up and managing sound equipment, including microphones and speakers.
  • Adhering to schedules and effectively directing event flow to keep guests engaged and entertained.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a DJ, ideally with a focus on weddings or private events.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various music genres spanning multiple decades.
  • Strong MC abilities with the capacity to engage and connect with diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in operating DJ equipment and sound systems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by wedding schedules.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in event planning or coordination.
  • Familiarity with current wedding music trends and requests.
  • Ability to adapt to various venue setups and acoustics.
  • Knowledge of lighting and audiovisual effects is advantageous.
