Position Summary:
The Culinary Specialist I will operate in a dynamic, high-volume kitchen environment. This role requires maintaining an orderly workstation for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of top-quality dishes.
Compensation: $21.00 per hourBenefits Include:

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals according to established recipes and specifications efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment.
- Contribute to menu development by suggesting innovative dishes that enhance guest satisfaction.
- Inspect deliveries to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Support the Executive Chef in the absence of supervisory staff.
- Adhere to environmental standards set by the winery.
- Promote safety for both guests and staff.
- Communicate any issues or shortages to the Chef promptly.
- Ensure a clean and organized work area, practicing good sanitation and safety protocols.
- Work primarily in the Pantry station.
- Conduct a daily checkout with the Chef at the end of each shift.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of relevant culinary experience.
- Proficient in the operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
- Strong knife skills and understanding of culinary terminology.
- Comprehensive knowledge of various cooking techniques including braising, sautéing, grilling, broiling, and frying.
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and troubleshoot effectively.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in high-temperature environments.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Possession of a valid Riverside County Food Handlers Card is required.
