Position Overview:

  • Compensation: $35-40/hour, based on experience
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
  • Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the month-end closing process, including posting journal entries and performing financial statement analysis.
  • Conduct account reconciliations for assigned accounts.
  • Perform daily and monthly banking reconciliations.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of financial transactions within the ERP system.
  • Enhance systems, processes, and policies to improve the efficiency of the accounting team.
  • Assist with the year-end financial audit.
  • Support the posting of daily cash receipts and accounts payable invoices.
  • Collaborate with the credit manager on billing corrections.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the healthcare or insurance sectors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP.
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
