Senior Retirement Services Account Manager

Overview
The Relationship Manager will oversee the most intricate Retirement Services client partnerships as designated. This role is pivotal in retaining and expanding current relationships while also acquiring new clients. The individual will be accountable for the management of client partnerships and the provision of all products and services through Disability Solutions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a consistent and integrated client experience by executing Disability Solutions' value proposition effectively. Ensure the reliable delivery of Retirement Services relationship management to assigned clients. Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee seamless service delivery and uphold client satisfaction. Initiate activities and strategies to retain and grow Retirement Services client relationships and boost revenue for Disability Solutions. Responsible for organizing, documenting, and implementing the Retirement Services client relationship strategy.
- Enhance and broaden existing Retirement Services client relationships by identifying cross-selling opportunities for Disability Solutions services and collaborating across the organization to achieve outcomes. Build relationships with internal and external influencers to create an effective referral network for new prospects. Engage in community and business activities to elevate the image and standing of Disability Solutions. Coordinate responses to Requests for Proposals for assigned Retirement Services accounts and potential new business. Provide technical sales support for new business development. Meet annual sales objectives. Mentor and train junior Retirement Services Relationship Managers. Serve as a Retirement Services technical resource for other Relationship Managers regarding specific administrative, leadership, or management functions as assigned.
- Ensure that assigned accounts are managed in accordance with the governing account documents. Complete all necessary reviews and reports promptly and accurately. Analyze assigned Retirement Services accounts for their efficient and effective operation. Advise clients, both employee and corporate, on the design and administration of assigned accounts. Interact with Retirement Services client contacts to maintain their trust while upholding fiduciary responsibilities. Address routine inquiries from clients regarding trust services, investments, and administrative matters, and escalate complex issues to superiors.
- This role may involve coaching and managing junior staff members.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field. (Required)
Experience
A minimum of 10 years in Institutional Retirement Services relationship management, including new client acquisition, retention, and servicing institutional retirement plans. (Required)
In-depth knowledge of ERISA, defined contribution, and defined benefit plans. (Required)
Certifications
AIF and QKA certifications are preferred.
Other Duties as Assigned by Manager
This role may involve additional responsibilities as assigned by management. Every employee is responsible for understanding and adhering to all company compliance programs, regulations, and policies, as well as completing all compliance training assignments on time. This includes recognizing compliance risks affecting their department and ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
Pay Transparency
To promote transparency, we disclose base salary ranges for all job postings. Salary ranges are determined based on the position, function, and responsibilities, benchmarked against similar companies in our industry. Specific compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant credentials. The salary range may vary by geographic location.
The salary range for this position is $84,000 to $140,200 annually.
Additional Compensation Components
This position is eligible for equity in the form of restricted stock units and may participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan based on individual and company performance.
