Position Overview:

Our client, a rapidly expanding bio-pharmaceutical organization, is in search of a Senior Financial Accountant on a contract-to-hire basis. This role will report directly to the Controller, offering an exceptional opportunity for professional development and advancement. Compensation:

$33-37/hour + 1.5 OT

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid schedule with only 2 days required in the office each week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Controller with month-end closing activities.
  • Review contracts to ensure accurate billing.
  • Assist with accounts payable, including general ledger coding.
  • Provide assistance with payroll as needed.
  • Manage fixed asset accounting and maintain appropriate schedules.
  • Offer audit support and engage in special projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
  • Proficient in Excel and other computer applications.
  • Experience with Sage software is a plus.
