Position Overview:
Our client, a rapidly expanding bio-pharmaceutical organization, is in search of a Senior Staff Accountant on a contract-to-hire basis. This role will report directly to the Controller and offers an excellent opportunity for professional development and growth.

Work Environment:
This position is situated in a casual and collaborative setting, promoting a fun atmosphere. The work schedule is hybrid, requiring only two days in the office each week.

Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $33 to $37, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the regular rate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Controller with month-end closing activities.
  • Review contracts to ensure accurate billing.
  • Assist with accounts payable, including general ledger coding.
  • Provide assistance with payroll as needed.
  • Manage fixed asset accounting and maintain appropriate schedules.
  • Support audit processes and participate in special projects.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficient in Excel and other computer applications.
  • Experience with Sage software is a plus.
