Licensed Behavior Analyst (BCBA) / Behavior Specialist

Connecting the Pieces LLC is on the lookout for a dedicated Licensed Behavior Analyst (BCBA) / Behavior Specialist to deliver both virtual and face-to-face services to children in need. Our focus is on providing quality interventions that cater to the unique requirements of each child.

Service Areas:

We are particularly focused on serving various counties, ensuring that our services reach those who need them the most.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver tailored services to students across diverse environments.
  • Evaluate treatment requirements and establish individualized goals for each client.
  • Formulate and execute IEP objectives, Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP), and Specific Directives for children with learning challenges.
  • Conduct comprehensive Behavioral Assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment (VB-MAPP), Assessment of Functional Living Skills (AFLS), and Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS-R).
  • Create personalized treatment strategies, track progress, and maintain communication with team members.
Required Evaluations:
  • Functional Behavior Analysis (FBA)
  • Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment (VB-MAPP)
  • Assessment of Functional Living Skills (AFLS)
  • Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS-R)

Essential Qualifications:

  • Certification as a BCBA from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Licensed Behavior Specialist through the appropriate state board.
  • Master's degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of three years of experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or with developmental disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
